Growing up in the 1990's, I find being a Millennial fascinating.
We are the chldren of technology, the internet, social media, innovation, Beanie Babies, Furbys, (okay maybe I got a little bit side tracked), entrepreneurship, small business minded and, most proud of, activism.
Our parents told us we could grow up and be whatever we wanted to but a majority of us are spoiled.
A new Scarborough infographic uncovered the attitudes that motivate the decisions and lifestyle behaviors of Millennials.
Check it out below and give us your thoughts. What makes you most proud of about being a Millennial?
The novelty of walking down the "Hostess aisle" at your local grocery store will soon diminish.
Hostess Brands Inc. announced today that it is winding down operations and has filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court seeking permission to close its business and sell its assets, including its iconic brands and facilities. Hostess said the following about its closing: "We are sorry to announce that Hostess Brands, Inc. has been forced by a Bakers Union strike to shut down all operations and sell all company assets. For more information, go to hostessbrands.info. Thank you for all of your loyalty and support over the years." I collected a few tweets from people I follow and Top Tweets around the United States on their reaction/commentary on the end of Hostess products. Tell me in the comments box what your favorite "Hostess memory" is.

I have neglected to blog as much as I wish I could. After being swamped with summer school, I decided to take an amazing offer at Northwest Mississippi Community College working as a graphic design assistant and yearbook editor as I finish my degrees there, yes two degrees because I just love school that much :) . I will graduate next May with Two Associate of Applied Science Degrees, one being in Graphic Design Technology and the other one being Business/Marketing. After that I plan on attending Ole Miss Desoto or University of Memphis to complete my bachelors in Business/Marketing. This summer I have designed and finished an album cover, menus, a menu board, the Southaven Chamber of Commerce Magazine advertisements for small businesses, as well as many photo-shoots. This fall I will be not only working at FedEx at night where I was promoted as a Diversity Specialist/Billing Accountant, but also be working at Northwest and attending Northwest online. It's a busy year for andrew.jpg design and photography and I hope to continue to free-lance as much as possible.

Heavily demonstrated on America's Next Great Restaurant, Graphic Designers helped showcase the importance of branding and executing your business visually each week by having the restaurant entrepreneurs to not only have a cooking challenge each week, but a design challenge and help them create their companies logos, visual atmosphere, branding, marketing, menus and even their chefs outfits.
On this season of Celebrity Apprentice, I quickly found out that Star Jones is not only a diva with a big personality, but is very tech-savy and works quite well with the graphic designers compared to the other project managers including legendary stars and actors/actresses as LaToya Jackson, Marlee Matlin, John Rich, Meatloaf, etc. Here are some tips that these celebrities and other entrepreneurs need to take in consideration when working with graphic designers. Take these tips into consideration if you want to have a winning design:
